    Yea i agree doodlebox. The only way to end a halo game is to have a mission in a warthog where the ground your on is about to explode. I loved the first and third halo but second and ODST were the worst.

    I thought it was a good game.
    The campaign had a good story and good missions (except for the last one. What's the worst way to end a game? With an escort mission, ugh...) the new weapons were fun to use and exploring the city makes for great replay value.
    Firefight is just pure fun. The waves of enemies are great to fight. Except for drones... I hate drones...
    The multiplayer disc is basically just Halo 3 without campaign, which disappoints me. It does have all the DLC, though (including the ones unreleased on Marketplace). I suppose it's just a bonus but I feel like I'm being sold the same thing I bought two years ago.
    So, I would give it an 8.5 out of 10. I would certainly buy it, and enjoy it for quite a while, but it does have its faults.

    By the way, I hope Reach will bring back the true Hunter-killing potential of the magnum.

    @ Peter Cheek you nailed it. Folks Halo ODST was caught in the hype and it just all of us more excited. When we all played we said awesome because it was DIFFERENT (note that word). After beating the campaign, getting the vidmasters, and getting Recon (like everyone else who got the game) I felt disappointed sence I did it all in about 10 hours 5 for campaign 2 or firefight Vid and the rest was for Deja Vu. And I havent touched ODST sence. Been playing Multiplayer because thats just awsome. But ladies and gents this is really a DLC I mean its a long DLC but no dout it is a DLC. (For god sake Firefight has no Matchmaking)

    Halo ODST is a great game..campain was good finally got the new maps for halo 3!! Now playing firefight is sweet!!!

    The only way you could think this was a great game was if you drink the Halo Kool aid.I have owned every Halo game but Halo Wars because I suck at RTS games.I loved the first one even with the playing through the same places over and over.The CO-OP was the thing.

    Then Halo 2 started the crazy stupid story but had great multiplayer I would say the best FPS multiplayer on a console.

    Halo 3 continued with the completely dissatisfying story and campaign.However added enough little new nuggets of multiplayer goodness to remain the best Multiplayer experience.With heavy heat coming from COD4.

    Then Halo 3 ODST.Steps backwards.Now you play as a non hero in a more tactical FPS.Were cover is important but yet has no cover system.You have a cool visor that only makes the game look worse and harder to play.Plus you fight the same enemies with the (for the most part) the same weak sounding and even less effective weapons.The pistol is great but that is it.It's like play'n a few more bad chapters of Halo 3 for $60 and adding GOW 2's Hord mode V2.0 for Halo.

    So the same weak weapons that even sound weak.A new distort the graphics view that makes the dark moments look bad and makes the bright too bright.So you play a side game with this new annoying feature.All this through a 5 hour campaign.Sorry folks but this is DLC it's not a fll game and you should be upset with Bungie.

    I know I know Bungie had you at Halo.They can put whatever they want after it and you will eat it up.

    I guess that I'll be giving my PS3 a break due to the fact that Halo 3 ODST just arrived in my mailbox on Saturday. I'm extremely excited to delve into this one of a kind FPS.

    Great game, completed the campaign and loved it, it's a little on the short side but the it's so much better than the one in Halo 3 it makes up for it (the Halo 3 campaign was still good, mind) and the Firefight mode is a great plus! My only annoyance with the game so far? Got to 197000 points on Firefight then got disconnected!

    So far the game is pretty cool. I really enjoy the Firefight addition. The one thing that disappointed me the most is the the new Pistol is not available in competitive multiplayer.

    This game is awesome, the dark atmosphere of New Mombasa and the haunting music is right up my alley as a stealthy shadow killer. The landscape looks beautifully destroyed and from the moment you hit the ground you're ready to find went went wrong during your drop and who or what is behind it.
